The Ministry of Health and the Prostate Cancer Working Group are pleased to introduce the Prostate Cancer Management and Referral Guidance (the guidance).

The guidance, developed by the Primary Care sub-group of the Prostate Cancer Working Group and the Ministry of Health with input from the wider health sector, is part of a suite of resources being developed under the Prostate Cancer Awareness and Quality Improvement Programme (AQIP).

It has been formally endorsed by the Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners, The Prostate Cancer Foundation, the Urological Society of Australia and New Zealand, The New Zealand Urological Nurses Society and the New Zealand Society of Pathologists.
