I recently had the opportunity to join the paediatric multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meeting at Whakatāne Hospital, where children who are in-patients are the focus. 

I recently had the opportunity to join the paediatric multi-disciplinary team (MDT) meeting at Whakatāne Hospital, where children who are in-patients are the focus. The daily meeting is attended by the Nurse Manager, Paediatricians, Paediatric House Officer, members of the Family Health Team (Social Worker and Paediatric Liaison Nurse), the child’s primary nurse, student nurses and student doctors.
