The stroke team wants to improve care for our TIA and stroke patients and is looking for feedback on the current TIA pathway in Bay Navigator, as well as feedback on the BPAC TIA eReferral tool.

The stroke team wants to improve care for our TIA and stroke patients and is looking for feedback on the current TIA pathway in Bay Navigator, as well as feedback on the BPAC TIA eReferral tool. Were you aware of both of these? Which one works better for you, or do you use them at all? And did you know we have a dedicated stroke physician at Tauranga Hospital carrying the ‘stroke phone’ for direct GP access from 8-4 Mondays to Fridays?

Please note - in the Eastern BOP any suspected TIA or stroke should be discussed with the on-duty physician.
