The Ministry of Health has been advised of a confirmed case of measles who flew from Rarotonga on April 24 arriving in Auckland at 06:10 on April 25 on Jet Star flight JQ130. The case was infectious during the flight.

The Ministry of Health has been advised of a confirmed case of measles who flew from Rarotonga on April 24 arriving in Auckland at 06:10 on April 25 on Jet Star flight JQ130. The case was infectious during the flight.

Passengers on this flight may have continued their journey on to other locations in New Zealand.

Given the incubation period for measles, cases linked to this case may soon be presenting with symptoms.
