RESEARCH OPPORTUNITY: Responding to intimate partner violence in primary health care

More than one in three women experience intimate partner violence in their lifetime, causing serious ongoing health effects. Primary health care professionals are often the first point of contact for women experiencing violence and are uniquely placed to facilitate access to care and support. As part of doctoral research, I am interested in helping primary health care professionals respond in an effective and sustainable way to their patients who are experiencing violence.
