Did you know that you can refer any suspected peripheral vascular disease patients to the podiatry service for ABPIs?

Simply use the BPAC e-referral to podiatry and state 'for ABPI'.

Note that it must be suspected arterial disease rather than venous. The podiatry clinic can directly refer on to the vascular clinic in certain critical cases such as rest pain, intermittent claudication <100m, or arterial ulceration.
