We have had a request from our radiology colleagues to try and include only relevant and pertinent clinical details in the e-Referrals.

We have had a request from our radiology colleagues to try and include only relevant and pertinent clinical details in the e-Referrals. It can be tempting to click the ‘include clinical notes’ box to be speedy and time efficient but this may mean that a request for a simple chest xray includes all the patients mental health history from that consult. This may even breach the rules of confidentiality and privacy. Thank you.
