Most of us now have access to CHIP and use it for getting access to hospital clinical notes, discharge summaries, Eclair results and prescriptions.

Most of us now have access to CHIP and use it for getting access to hospital clinical notes, discharge summaries, Eclair results and prescriptions.

There has been some misconception that it is only available to the Drs but practice nurses definitely have the right and should be using it. We have had discussions with OP nurses, schedulers and patient information services and they get lots of calls from our Practice nurses enquiring about patient appointment and times. It can save time by looking it up on CHIP.
