Ongoing Issues- CHIP Direct Access

An update on CHIP Direct Access for Primary Care

Kia ora koutou,

Unfortunately, we are still experiencing issues with CHIP working from within practice management systems.  We have been informed that when CHIP is opened from with systems such as Medtech the screen will immediately disappear.
The Bay of Plenty applications team are currently investigating the issue and are working to establish the root cause and identify a fix for this issue.
As a workaround our recommendation to access CHIP would be to use the dedicated link and login to CHIP directly.  The direct login for CHIP is as follows:  (
This will require that you use the login and password details that were sent to you when your account was first created.  I appreciate you may not know your username and/or password and may need some assistance resetting your password or remembering your username.  To assist with this, we have a reestablished a dedicated email address that we will use during this time to ensure we can respond to requests for usernames and passwords whilst we are investigating this issue.
