The Bay of Plenty District Health Board is seeking applications for the role of General Practice Liaison (GPL). The position is for one and a half days per week (0.3FTE).The successful applicant will be part of a team of three general practice liaisons working with the service improvement unit. The position can be based in either Tauranga or Whakatane.

The Service Improvement Unit provides a supportive team with a wide range of skills. The GPLs will work flexibly within that team using their clinical expertise to advise and support innovative projects, as well as providing a vital link between general practice and specialist services.

Applicants should have a strong commitment to building a positive culture of effective partnerships based on our CARE values, both within the District Health Board and with external providers. The DHBs CARE values are described within the position description.
