Six Community Salmonella Cases In Tauranga 5 Sep 2022

Toi Te Ora Public Health has been notified of six cases of salmonella in the community associated with the Gurudwara Sikh Sangat (Sikh Temple in Burrows Street, off Fifteenth Ave).

All cases attended the temple on 26 or 27 August 2022.  Symptoms have included diarrhoea, vomiting, nausea, abdominal pain, fever and headaches.  Members of this community with symptoms are being advised to seek medical attention.
